Business Plan Board and Report

We've gotten a few questions about who we are and what we do here at Old Fashioned. Here, we plan to answer them.

1. What unique features do you provide to your customers in your products?

One thing we noticed when we were asking local customers what they wanted to see in our clothing, a lot of people told us they wished clothing marketed to older generations had better accessibility features. With less mobility than they used to have, some customers struggle to button shirts, zip pants, and even more.

That's where we come in. We at Old Fashioned believe that your style should not be jeopardized by what mobility someone may or may not have. In every piece of clothing we sell, we incorporate velcro finishings behind faux buttons and snaps to make fastening easier. We use elastic waistbands that are classy and stylish. We use velcro belt snaps to ensure our customers can be comfortable and have clothes that fit them appropriately. We use stretchier cotton blends and all natural materials to make sure our customers' delicate skin is not bothered by our fabrics. We make sure our customers always come first and feel heard in our store.

2. What are the retail prices for your products?

Because we make our products with the best cotton on the market and proudly manufacture it in the USA, our prices may differ from other products you may find. Our prices range from anywhere from $30-100, but those will vary with the seasons and the lines we design.

3. What is your target customer like?

We've already gone in-depth on our target customer, her demographics, and her values on our Target Market page, so you can click on that subheading to read more in-depth about her, but we can summarize her here. She is 75, eccentric, and values aesthetic and functionality as well as caring for the earth and doing her part to stop climate change. She is kind, caring, and unafraid to be daring. She never backs down from a colorful outfit and loves a statement piece. She is conscious of her spending, but realizes she needs to adapt her wardrobe to acclimate to getting older.
